The Midnight Sun Challenge was a very successful event. Forty aircraft arrived in Quesnel on July 16 in preparation for departure to Whitehorse on July 17. Our Club put together an amazing meal for the participants and and we all had a very enjoyable evening . Paul Zeegers provided a fabulous roast pig for the dinner. Our club was well represented with 5 aircraft participating in the flight. When all aircraft had arrived in Whitehorse the final count was 107 aircraft participating. The week in Whitehorse was spent taking part in a variety of fly-outs and socializing and getting to know fellow aviators.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and barbecue took place on Sept. 25. Representatives from all of the donors were present and as usual we had an awesome meal.
